Humor Or Horror

Initially I really thought about posting about the Democratic Governor who suggested we should suspend elections until we get the economy fixed.  Those people who handle idiots like this naturally said she was just joking later.  But you know?  Those kinds of posts are depressing.  So instead I thought a good quote from another blogger I read would be much better for today since it made me chuckle.

Jay G. reports daily from behind enemy lines, the grave of, the birthplace of liberty, Massachusetts.  He runs a heartwarming update on a regular basis called the Dead Goblin Count (for any readers of the non gunnie persuasion a Goblin is referring to a bad guy).  Today was a particularly good day for the count but still there are things that could be improved as Jay notes in this quote...

Again, as with most DGC addition stories, there are precious few facts. Reporters need to start asking the real tough questions like "what caliber did you use" and "what brand firearm was it". Alas, we're left with naught but the warm glow of knowing a goblin has been dispatched by a homeowner and not the reverse...

 I think he's really on to something here.  I for one would really like to know if .45's drop 'em like the 1911 fan boys claim all the time or if the good 'ol 9mm using exploding, poison, dum dum, , magic, expanding self defense rounds really does the job?  I mean, where has the accuracy in reporting gone these days???
