These are the first seven words of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America. The depth and meaning of these few words are not often considered in regard to their relevance to life, being so inexorably linked, as they are, to that great document. These are simply my thoughts about those human events.

ReplyDeleteSadly, I did have to do it twice. Once most of the table top was aflame though (it's a small grill), the coals appear to have caught nicely.

DeleteFirefighters battled a fire caused by gasoline on a barbecue grill at a far northeast Dallas apartment complex on Monday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the Huntingbrook Apartments at Audelia Road and Amberly Drive, north of Interstate 635 and east of Richland College, at 1:20 p.m.
The fire began in a first-floor apartment where an occupant grilling on his patio used gasoline to light the grill, Dallas Fire-Rescue said
